You can input roof pitch in whichever format you prefer (angle, percentage, ratio), and our tool will automatically tell you the other ones. You can input any of the two values to get the third one calculated. Here as well, our calculator works both ways. After doing that, you will see the rafter length in the bottom-most field. If you’re unsure, you may want to consult with the manufacturer of the panels with the values you’ve acquired from the roof pitch calculator before purchasing your materials. If you decided to include roof pitch in your calculations, you will need to input the run and the pitch of the roof to get the rafter length. ![]() In this paper, streaming water layer over the upper side of PV modules is considered as a cooling method. One of the main problems that this technology faces is the increase in the temperature of solar cells. Since the solar irradiation is accessible in many parts of our planet, it is a viable replacement for fossil fuels, so commissioning photovoltaic (PV) power plants are increased, rapidly. This research can be helpful to provide the suggested solution for energy management of the hybrid power system for hydrogen fuel cell buses. Results showed that the power prediction strategy based on GM (1, N) has a better performance in output efficiency and fuel economy when compared to the other two strategies by analyzing the aspects of the battery in the SOC variation and equivalent hydrogen consumption and the fuel cell in the output power variation and hydrogen consumption. The variation curves of the battery SOC and fuel cell output power under two working conditions of CCBC and real vehicle conditions were analyzed by using these three strategies, when the initial SOC of power battery is 30%, 70%, and 90%, respectively. A GM (1, N) power prediction strategy was proposed and compared with other strategies as an on-off control strategy and logical threshold value strategy in this study. Toyota‘s RAV4 Prime gets very nearly the same mileage as its regular hybrid sister, but offers much more in terms of fully-electric range and the ability to drive at highway speeds on electric power alone. That means more power, better fuel efficiency and the ability to travel in all-electric mode at highway speeds for a useful distance. To have any value to the consumer, a PHEV has to deliver more than a conventional hybrid. That bigger motor and battery add cost extra, though. When that charge is depleted, the PHEV operates as a regular hybrid using engine power and regenerative braking to keep electrons flowing to the battery pack. The battery can be recharged from the commercial power grid by plugging into a 120- or 240-volt charging system, just like a fully-electric vehicle. The simplest explanation of the plug-in hybrid is that it is a hybrid vehicle with a bigger electric motor and larger, rechargeable battery. It is a way for automakers to assuage consumer unease over EVs’ limited range while temporarily appeasing government regulators’ appetite for low emissions vehicles without the cost and range penalties of an ell-electric vehicle. And, what better way to end a list about pomodoro timer apps than with an app called Pomodoro? Pomodoro functions a little bit differently, in that it offers a wide variety of white noise sounds. So we're heading to the next app on the list. While it has some nice features, including Siri and Apple Watch integration, I don't think that's enough extra incentive to pay $4.99 a month or $39.99 a year. The fifth app on the list, Focus Time Management, has an extremely clean design, but saddles it with a subscription system and requires you to sign up to access the free trial. The graphics are unlike the other timers on the list, and the idea that all those completed tasks will let you further customize the timer is much more incentivizing than a basic "pay for Pro" system. If the idea of gamifying your task timer appeals to you, then Plantie is the one you need to download. There's a very nice efficiency chart as well, so it's easy to see how you've done while using the app (there's no 3 or 30 day limit to your historical data). For someone like me who's checking the news every couple of minutes, it's a big plus. ![]() You'll have to restart your session by going into the app (you can customize this so that there's a 30 second leeway or your task is never interrupted). ![]() Shift away from the app, and it will pause your task and send you a notification. There's no naming of your current tasks, like there is with Tomato Timer, but Plantie does have an important feature that the first two on this list don't. Maintain a streak and you'll get coins for your effort that can be used to buy additional types of trees. Break the chain and your fruit goes away. A fun take on the standard timer app where your efficiency progress is represented by fruit growing on a little tree. So instead I downloaded the similar-looking Plantie. The third tomato timer app in the App Store is Flora, which looks great, but requires that you sign in with Facebook to use it. If messing with your phone is what's destroying your efficiency, you'll need to look elsewhere. I like Focus Keeper a lot, but the one thing it doesn't do is automatically stop the timer when you leave the app. Paying for the app will also unlock a full 30 days worth of efficiency charts (you only get 3 days in the basic app). If you want to change the background color, set different goals, or customize the sounds you can "Go Pro" for $1.99. It does this again for your long break (this time adding a nice soothing beach sound). Once your current session is up, it will prompt you to start your break, automatically setting a 5-minute timer, changing the background color and adding a ticking sound (which actually stresses me out, luckily you can disable it). If you leave the app, you can still see what minute you're on by checking the count on the badge notification. Click the start button and it will start counting down, keeping track of what round you're on as well as your goal for the session. You can manually drag the timer bar back and forth to set a longer or shorter session. Once you open the app, the cheery red background and horizontal timer striations makes its purpose clear. The number one app on the list, Focus Keeper, is also the most true to the original concept of the pomodoro timer. ![]() Current treatment approaches bias the biomedical model which emphasises physically treating and loading the tendon. Mirror neurons have been proposed as the neurophysiological basis of the visuo-motor and motor-visual transformation processes, and may play a role in the perceptual and motor improvements induced by observational motor learning.
